“Yes, can I please have a brownie?” she smiled as she handed the cashier the money and took the brownie. Effie found the closest table and sat down and looked at Trent. “That’s good. How about you and Roxie? I heard you too were having issues.” Effie said and made a that must suck expression. She had wondered what happened between them, her and Roxie where bestfriends, and her and Trent did like each other, so she just wanted know a little about it.
Trent looked at Effie “Well we just friends now that’s all I am happy about that” he toke his fork cut piece the cake with it and ate it “I want to be more then friends but she doesn’t feel that way why should I chase her you know”. Trent exhale and shook his head.
Effie knew where Trent was coming from. She just didn’t understand Roxie told her that she liked him. But it didn’t matter right now. “That must suck!” she felt bad for him. Effie picked up her brownie and took a bite of it. “So, your going to try to get her to like you?” she said curious. “And If you try to hopefully this time she’ll say yes.” Effie said feeling bad for him. She couldn’t help but feel bad. She would hate to be turned down.

She walked out the door, and once she got Trents text she replied back; “Alright.” as she slipped her phone back into her pocket and walked closer and closer to the bakery as she got to the door and pulled it open seeing Trent was already there. She smile and waved at him. “Hey, Trent!” Effie gave him a hug and looked at him. “So how’s are you?”
Trent look up when someone call his name it was Effie he went to go hug Effie “everything is alright” he smile has they went up to the front counter he look through the glass case of line up cupcakes,cake,donuts and alot more delicious treats. “So can I have piece of that cheese cake with the strawberry on top”. He point at the one he wanting the cashier gave him his cheese cake in very unique plate he pay for his cake and waiting for Effie.
